| Forte's goal for this project was to design a safe stairway and ramp system that provides an inviting form of circulation for individuals with disabilities and those without. The original staircase was inconvenient and insecure. The existing concrete stairs were demolished and a new covered concrete stair and ramp system were constructed per Forte's design. The new stairs include a wood frame roof structure with asphalt roofing material and efficient gutters to protect pedestrians from the elements. |
