NEW YORK CAFE BUILDING

Forte Architects performed a survey and assessment on the condition of materials at the existing New York Cafe building. The extent of damaged materials was documented, including the identification of which needed replacement. Fallen plaster, the condition of windows, doors, and hardware were all evaluated. Next, Forte established an initial budget for the owner to review and approve.

Forte designed common spaces, incorporated required structural upgrades, selected HVAC systems, proposed materials, identified methods for reusing existing materials, updated the budget and obtained required approvals from historic preservation officials.
