BRUCE HOTEL

The Bruce Hotel was originally constructed in 1922. After years of use the condition of this three-story hotel and retail structure needed to be assessed. The Frame Works occupies the retail portion of the structure, while Bruce Transitional Housing occupies the rest of the building providing housing and support to homeless individuals and their families. A new functional program was needed to ensure that the building can meet the organization's growing needs and meet all codes and ADA requirements. Forte began to address this difficult design challenge by providing structural, electrical, and mechanical inspection of the existing building.
